Frederique Constant

Soon to be released in September is the all new Maxime Manufacture Automatic from Frederique Constant. Perhaps the least expensive Swiss-made watch with an in-house movement at $2550.00. The watch boasts an all new case design with polished and matt case elements and a stunning silver guilloche dial, and an alligator strap.

The Maxime Manufacture Automatic feature the all new FC-700 Caliber with a power reserve of 42 hours.

Her'e a great video from Frederique Constant featuring two of my favorite hobbies, classic boats and watches:

Cimier - Petite Seconde

Cimier is a Swiss brand that was founded in 1924 by R. Lapanouse and went defunct in 1985. The brand was resurrected in 2003 by Martin Baertsch and his team of Swiss watch manufactures.

The above photo shows a couple of Petite Seconde's with a manual wind, hand decorated Unitas movement set in a stainless steel case. By offsetting the crown to the 4 o'clock position, Cimier creates a fresh look for the sub-seconds dial at 10 o'clock instead of the usual 9 o'clock position.

Above photo shows the hand decorated Unitas movement visable thru the see-thru case back.

MSRP: $1865.00
